A film inspired by the Counter Culture of the 1960’s & the surrealist ideas that used painting and film to juxtapose two of more actions being done. Through skateboarding, music & art we find connections created through unique subconscious thoughts of movements in our own nature. This was a final project from my class in were we had to connect my major (graphic design) with something from past modern art & society. I was heavily inspired by Dalí and his dream like paintings and connected it to Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb movie with shots taken over a weekend trip to San Diego. Nothing was planned, everything came together juxtaposed on top of each other in right moments perfectly fitting the music and messages Country Joe & the Fish may have been trying to portray at some point
